There is a number of pathways for you to get an appointments:

We spilt our emergency appointments between the people who come to the surgery and those who call our phone lines.

The emergency on the day appointments booking time for the morning session starts at 8am and the afternoon time is from 1.30pm. The reception team cannot book on the day emergency appointments on the system prior to the times listed.

As we have limited on the day emergency appointments, if they are not available you can call the GP Hub on 0203 770 1888 on the weekday days they are open from 2pm to 10pm and weekends from 9am. Any consultation with the GP Hub is automatically linked to your records on our system, and if needed we will follow up on any recommended actions from the GP Hub.

You can call 111, all interactions with NHS 111 are automatically linked to your records on our system, and if needed we will follow up on any recommended actions. NHS 111 will agree a pathway with you to address your clinical needs. NHS 111 service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Additionally if you prefer you can do an online consultation (econsult) by going to our website www.thedoctorshouse.co.uk, we respond to your econsult within 2 working days.

You can call the surgery anytime for advance appointments, the demand for the advance appointments is extremely high, and these should only be used for non – critical routine appointments. We would ask that if you have booked an advance appointment, then you book an on the day emergency appointment for the same clinical need, that you cancel the advance appointment so that this can be used by another patient.

Appointments for our Pharmacist, Nurse, Mental health Practitioner and Health Care Assistants can be booked in advance anytime the surgery is open.

When a patient does not turn up to an appointment it is too late to reallocate that appointment to another patient, we request that if you cannot come to your appointment that you ring our cancellation line as soon as you can, if you provide us with enough notice then we can book another patient on to that appointment slot.
